Mexicali, July 28. High school and college students from across the state interested in benefiting from COMUNDER school transportation have the opportunity to apply for this program starting August 1, Governor Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda announced.
"It's free, safe, and efficient transportation that already operates in Mexicali, San Felipe, San Quintín, Tijuana, Tecate, and Ensenada, from Maneadero to El Sauzal. They take students to their schools and back to their communities," the governor stated.
The call is being led by the Youth Institute (JuventudBC), whose director, Francisco Molina, emphasized that the COMUNDER program has been strengthened and is currently allocating more than 59 million pesos to serve 33 routes , benefiting more than 3,000 students.
He indicated that interested young people must be between 14 and 29 years old and enrolled in one of the state's high schools or universities.
The selected candidates for the Comprehensive School Transportation System (SITE) program will be announced on August 8 , and the results can be consulted on Juventud BC's social networks or by calling (686) 568 4115 and (686) 563 6934.
