Mexicali, August 12. The Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) will host three exhibitions from Universum, the Science Museum of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM): “3D Spatial Exploration,” “Producing While Conserving,” and “Science and Art: How to Bring Order to the Kaleidoscope of the World.”
From August 27 to December 12, the public will be able to enjoy “3D Space Exploration” at the Tecate University’s Espacio Norte Gallery , an exhibition that presents some of the solar system’s most fascinating places and phenomena through three-dimensional lenses.
The Tijuana campus will feature "Producing and Conserving," an exhibition that promotes the conservation of Mexican biocultural diversity and responsible and informed consumption through successful production systems such as shade-grown coffee, beekeeping, traditional community cacao farming, and ecotourism. This exhibition will be open from August 27 to December 12 in the Álvaro Blancarte Art Gallery.
In the Rubén García Benavides Arts Gallery on the Mexicali Campus, from August 28 to December 12, “Science and Art: How to Bring Order to the Kaleidoscope of the World ” will be presented. This exhibition invites you to explore the similarities between two ways of thinking that, although seemingly distinct, share fundamental principles such as a love of order, the pleasure of building, and the ability to create.
