Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Taufik Hidayat invited the public to make sports a part of their daily culture, not only in big cities but also in various regions throughout Indonesia.
"Sports must become a culture, and this is not only in Jakarta but also in other regions. Here, we see that the runners are not only young, but also mixed, all ages are also present," said Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Taufik while attending and sending off participants of the Nusantara Batik Fun Run & Walk (GBN) held in the Pasaraya Blok M area.
The Fun Run & Walk is the culmination of the GBN series which has been running since Wednesday (30/7) and is organized by the Indonesian Batik Foundation (YBI).
Taufik said that various sporting events such as running are now increasingly being held and have a positive impact on the community's exercise movement.
