The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) will hold an awards ceremony titled the 2025 PSSI Awards on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Kempinski Hotel.
This event is a form of appreciation for players, coaches, clubs, and national football stakeholders who are considered to have contributed to the development of Indonesian football.
PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir said the award was designed to recognize the hard work and dedication of Indonesian footballers and serve as a source of inspiration for the younger generation.
"The 2025 PSSI Awards are a form of appreciation from PSSI for football professionals, including players, coaches, clubs, and other stakeholders who play a vital role in building the national football industry," said Erick Thohir in an official statement.
He added that this award also symbolizes the collaboration of all elements in advancing Indonesian football in a sustainable manner.
There are two main categories in this event, namely the Prime Achievement Awards which are selected directly by the Technical Study Group (TSG), and the Performance Awards which involve public participation through an online voting mechanism.
The nominations will be determined by the TSG, which comprises the PSSI Technical Department and the league operator, I.League, with the assessment period covering the 2024/2025 season (August 2024–May 2025). All nominees must be Indonesian citizens or part of an Indonesian entity.
PSSI is inviting public participation through its official website, awards.pssi.org. Voting for the Performance Awards category will be open from August 18 to August 27, 2025.
