The armed forces declared themselves ready to carry out the orders of their future supreme commander

During the military parade marking the 214th anniversary of the beginning of the independence struggle, the two senior military commanders, General Luis Cresencio Sandoval, Secretary of National Defense, and Admiral José Rafael Ojeda Durán, head of the Navy, emphasized the commitment the armed forces will show to the future president.
In front of a capital city Zócalo packed with soldiers, sailors, and members of the Mexican Air Force and the National Guard, the two commanders who led both armed forces throughout this six-year term also paid tribute to the outgoing president.
In a farewell, both soldiers thanked President Andrés Manuel López Obrador for allowing them to be part of his project so they could make history together.
