During his visit to Chiapas, the former senator experienced two power outages in a single day and took the opportunity to highlight the importance of developing methods to generate clean energy, referring to a wind farm in Oaxaca that has been producing energy for nearly two decades.
He also mentioned that investors taking advantage of nearshoring to invest in Mexico are seeking security and energy, as these factors drive the economic development that is so necessary for the country.
