In a televised statement, Saree said, “ The Yemeni Armed Forces’ missile force carried out a qualitative military operation targeting Lod Airport in the occupied Jaffa region (Tel Aviv) with a hypersonic ballistic missile of the “Palestine 2” type. The operation successfully achieved its goal, thanks be to God.”

Early Thursday morning, the Israeli occupation army announced in a statement that it had intercepted a missile it said was launched from Yemen. The statement said, "The Israeli Air Force intercepted a missile launched from Yemen," explaining that, "in accordance with established protocol, no air raid sirens were activated." 

Meanwhile, residents in central Israel reported hearing explosions, although no sirens were activated. About 20 minutes after the initial announcement, the Israeli military confirmed that the missile had been successfully intercepted, according to the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.

On Tuesday evening, the Houthi group announced the implementation of four drone attacks targeting sites in Haifa, the Negev, Eilat, and Beersheba inside Israel, confirming that the attacks achieved their objectives.

Since the outbreak of Israel's war of extermination in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023 , the Houthis have continued to launch ballistic missiles and drones toward Israel, most of which have been intercepted.
