The occupation forces injured four Palestinians in Nablus and demolished a school and a home in Tubas and Bethlehem.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a brief statement that its crews dealt with four injuries on the ground: "Two cases of gas inhalation, one with burns, and one case of falling from a height (during the pursuit)."

For its part, the Voice of Palestine Radio (government) reported that "large forces of the occupation army stormed the eastern area of Nablus," noting that clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and the Israeli occupation army in the same area.

She added that buses carrying settlers were waiting at the Hawara checkpoint, south of Nablus, in preparation for storming Joseph's Tomb in the eastern part.

Activists on social media posted a video of what they said were settler buses waiting at the checkpoint to storm the tomb.

Meanwhile, Israeli bulldozers on Tuesday demolished a school under construction in the village of Aqaba in the Tubas Governorate, and a house under construction in the village of Artas in the Bethlehem Governorate in the occupied West Bank.

Azmi Balawneh, the director of education in the northern city of Tubas, said, "The occupation forces stormed the village of Aqaba, accompanied by bulldozers, and began demolishing the school, which was funded by the French Agency," according to what was reported by the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).

He added, "The occupation forces had issued a notice, several months ago, to stop work at the school, claiming it lacked a permit, and then seized heavy bulldozers operating at the site."

In Bethlehem (south), Samir Abu Suwai, a member of the Artas village council south of the city, reported that Israeli bulldozers "demolished a house under construction in the village under the pretext of lacking a permit," according to what was reported by the Wafa news agency.

Abu Suway explained that "an Israeli force, backed by a bulldozer, stormed the Jabal Abu Zeid area southeast of the village, sealed it off completely, and prevented residents from accessing it. They then proceeded to demolish a house consisting of foundations, columns, and one room, belonging to Ihab Melhem."

On Monday, the Palestine Liberation Organization's Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported that Israeli authorities carried out 75 demolitions in July, targeting 122 structures, including 60 inhabited homes, 11 uninhabited ones, 22 agricultural facilities, 26 livelihood facilities, and others.

During the first half of this year, the Israeli occupation army demolished 588 facilities, harming 843 citizens, including 411 children. During the same period, it issued demolition notices to 556 facilities, including 322 inhabited homes, 18 uninhabited ones, 151 agricultural facilities, and 97 facilities classified as sources of livelihood, among others, according to the same commission.

Israeli authorities prevent Palestinians from building or expanding in Area C without obtaining permits, which are nearly impossible to obtain, according to local and international organizations.

The Oslo II Accords between the Palestine Liberation Organization and Israel divided the West Bank into three areas: "A" under full Palestinian control; "B" under Israeli security control and Palestinian civil and administrative control; and "C" under Israeli civil, administrative and security control.

Israel has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 210,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 9,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, and a famine that has claimed the lives of many.

In parallel with the genocide, the Israeli occupation army and settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in the deaths of at least 1,013 Palestinians, the injury of approximately 7,000 others, and the arrest of more than 18,500, according to Palestinian data.
