 the proposal of Justice Norma Lucía Piña Hernández, and by a vote of seven to three, the Plenary of the country's highest court approved the suspension of today's session in support of the silent demonstration being held by the institution's employees and so that Congress can hear their views on judicial reform.

Minister Piña Hernández made her proposal as follows: "Before continuing, I would like to submit to a vote of this full court that, given that the Court's employees have expressed support for their colleagues, we not hold the session, which is also a form of strike, while working.

"But yes, I want to put it to a vote by this full court. I submit to this full court's consideration whether we hold the session at this time, given the solidarity demonstration the workers themselves are requesting, or also as a strike demonstration, but we continue working.

"As a demonstration of support and solidarity with the Federal Judiciary, but as we continue working, I submit this for your consideration."
