Indonesian U-17 national team coach Nova Arianto confirmed that his squad is ready for the second match of the 2025 Independence Cup against Uzbekistan U-16 at the North Sumatra Main Stadium.
Met during team training at the North Sumatra Dispora Mini Stadium on Thursday, Nova confirmed that all players were in prime condition.
"Regarding the players' condition, all are in good condition and ready to play tomorrow. We'll see whoever is ready tomorrow, and we'll definitely field them, and hopefully, they can give their best," said Nova.
The Indonesian U-17 national team previously drew 2-2 against Tajikistan U-17 in their first match on Tuesday night (August 12th). Nova hopes his team can perform better in this second match.
"We know we're facing Uzbekistan, and even though they're not a World Cup team, I'm asking the players to stay focused. I'll try again to get everyone here to play. We'll rotate some players who didn't play yesterday, and I'll give them a chance," he said.
