Thousands of Moroccans demonstrate in Tangier to denounce Israeli starvation in Gaza.

The march came in response to a call from the Moroccan Initiative for Support and Advocacy (a non-governmental organization). Protesters staged a sit-in in Al-Ma'akzin Square before roaming the city's streets, chanting slogans demanding the protection of civilians in the Gaza Strip and holding Israel accountable for its actions.

Slogans raised by the participants included: "The people want to liberate Palestine," "Free people everywhere, no Zionists, no Americans," and "Palestine resists." They also denounced the international community's inability to stop what they described as "the ongoing genocide" in Gaza.

This popular movement comes amid a worsening starvation crisis within the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from malnutrition since October 2023 has risen to 281, including 114 children.
