Turkey on World Humanitarian Day: Israel has killed 483 humanitarian workers since 2023






In a statement issued on the occasion of World Humanitarian Day, the ministry affirmed that 2024 recorded the highest number of deaths among humanitarian workers since the beginning of documentation, adding: "We gratefully honor the souls of those who lost their lives while working with dedication around the world."

The statement emphasized Türkiye's continued provision of humanitarian aid to those in need around the world, along with its commitment to supporting and protecting workers in this vital field.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.

The Israeli genocide left 62,000 Palestinians dead, 156,230 injured, most of them children and women, more than 9,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and a famine that claimed the lives of 263 people, including 112 children.
