UABC Ensenada celebrates 917 potential graduates

Ensenada, November 30.- The Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC), Ensenada Campus, held the 2022-2 Potential Graduates Ceremony, presided over by the rector, Dr. Daniel Octavio Valdez Delgadillo, to celebrate the 917 students who will soon fulfill their dream of becoming professionals.

The rector mentioned that this event is of vital importance to UABC, celebrating the dedication to society of a new generation of Maroons, who will join the more than 230,000 graduates who, over the past 65 years, have trained at this institution and who carry out their professions with social responsibility and a high sense of ethics.

He added that UABC aspires for its graduates to be entrepreneurial, creative, and innovative professionals who are sensitive to social issues and environmental concerns, who respect and defend human rights, who maintain ethical behavior, and, above all, who are active participants in the transformation of their communities.

“Never forget that graduating from university closes a cycle that began years ago with a dream, a dream fueled by the legitimate aspiration to advance socially. But graduating also means opening new cycles in your life, new paths to explore, and many possibilities for new projects. Therefore, this moment in your life is truly hopeful,” Dr. Valdez Delgadillo emphasized.
