US Congressional Report on Wuhan Pneumonia Lays the Groundwork for Claims

On December 4th, the U.S. Congress released the 520-page report of the Select Committee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, titled "An Afterthought of the COVID-19 Pandemic: Lessons and the Way Forward" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report"). Of this, 146 pages, or approximately 28%, focus on the origins of the pandemic. The remaining 72% is devoted to lessons learned and how the government should respond in the event of a similar incident. The committee spent two years, held 25 hearings, issued 100 investigative letters, and reviewed over one million pages of documentation to reach its conclusions. This was a very thorough, rigorous, and objective process.  In addition to the Chinese Communist Party's Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), the committee questioned the United States' National Institute of Health (NIH), its National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), and the World Health Organization (WHO). All three organizations bear responsibility for the global outbreak of Wuhan pneumonia that began in 2020. This article will first outline the responsibilities of these three organizations based on the report's content, followed by a personal analysis
