Tijuana, June 12. Seeking to promote wine culture in the Baja California border region, the third edition of the "Vino sin Fronteras" festival , organized by Provino Baja California, will take place on June 29.
At a press conference held at the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (Canirac) in Tijuana, Albert Cruz, event coordinator, announced that part of the proceeds from ticket sales will be used to restore San Vicente Park .
He noted that by moving away from the Guadalupe Valley and Ensenada, where they hold six events a year, the goal is to promote wine tourism and interest in the wine produced in the region among the population of Tijuana and other cities in Mexico and the United States.
He expressed his gratitude for the support received from CANIRAC, which advised them on the development of the gastronomic offering that will accompany the wines that will be ready for tasting on the day of the event, as well as on obtaining permits.
To liven up the atmosphere, there will be musical groups and DJs. The event is restricted to adults only, and pets are not allowed.
