Türkiye, the United States, the World Health Organization, the United Kingdom, the United Nations, Spain, and the European Union Commission expressed their strong condemnation and rejection of the targeting of journalists and civilians.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, "The bloodthirsty Israeli government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu continues its brutal attacks on the Gaza Strip to destroy everything related to humanity."
In a speech following the cabinet meeting on Monday, he added that Israel killed at least 20 Palestinians, including five journalists, in the brutal attack on Nasser Hospital today. He noted that his government was assessing the additional steps it would take in the coming period to stop the massacres in Gaza and provide more aid to the oppressed Palestinians.
For his part, US President Donald Trump noted that he was "not aware that Israel was targeting Palestinian journalists and paramedics in the Gaza Strip," and that he was "not happy" about the news.
Trump, whose country has supported the Israeli genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, continued: "I'm not happy about this, and I don't want to see it. We must end this nightmare."
In a related context, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stressed that repeated Israeli attacks on hospitals in Gaza are making it more difficult for civilians to access limited healthcare.
"While people are dying of hunger in Gaza, their limited access to health services is becoming increasingly difficult with repeated attacks," Ghebreyesus said via the X platform.
For his part, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy expressed his dismay and astonishment at the Israeli attack on Nasser Hospital in the Gaza Strip.
In a post on the X platform, Lamy emphasized the need to protect civilians, medical personnel, and journalists, adding, "I am appalled by the Israeli attack on Nasser Hospital in Gaza. Civilians, healthcare workers, and journalists must be protected."
For his part, UN Secretary-General António Guterres "strongly" condemned the Israeli occupation army's targeting of Palestinian civilians and journalists in a bombing of Nasser Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip.
Stéphane Dujarric, Spokesman for the UN Secretary-General, said in a press conference that Guterres strongly condemns the Israeli bombing of Nasser Hospital, noting that these latest horrific deaths highlight the grave risks faced by healthcare workers and journalists while performing their vital duties in the midst of conflict.

Meanwhile, the Spanish government condemned the Israeli bombing of Nasser Hospital. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Monday, "The Spanish government condemns the Israeli attack on Nasser Hospital in Gaza," adding, "It is a clear and unacceptable violation of international humanitarian law and must be investigated."
The ministry affirmed Spain's full commitment to the right to access information, referring to the deaths of journalists in the hospital bombing.
For her part, the European Commissioner for Equality and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, called on Israel to stop killing journalists who are trying to tell the world what is happening in the Gaza Strip, expressing her deep sorrow over the deaths of many civilians, including journalists, during the Israeli offensive.
"Medics and rescue workers were killed, all doing their job," she said, adding, "I call on Israel again to stop killing those who are trying to report what is happening in Gaza to the world."
The German Foreign Ministry expressed its shock at the Israeli airstrike on Nasser Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip and called for an investigation.
"We are deeply shocked by the deaths of a large number of journalists, rescue workers, and other civilians in the Israeli attack on Nasser Hospital in Gaza. The attack must be investigated," the ministry said in a statement on the X platform. It emphasized that the work of journalists covering the devastating reality in Gaza is crucial, calling on the Israeli government to grant media workers access and provide protection for journalists in Gaza.
In the same context, Switzerland expressed its strong condemnation of the Israeli attack on the hospital, calling for the protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure at all times, in accordance with international humanitarian law.
The Swiss Foreign Ministry said via its X platform: "We strongly condemn the Israeli attack on Nasser Hospital, which resulted in the deaths of a large number of civilians."
The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that the death toll of journalists killed since October 7, 2023, has risen to 246, following the martyrdom of six journalists today, including five in the Nasser Hospital attack.
