Tijuana, October 13.- In joint actions, National Guard personnel and local authorities seized 120,000 pills and nine kilos of fentanyl and arrested two people in Tijuana , Baja California.
Federal authorities reported that "as a result of intelligence work, personnel from the National Guard and the State Citizen Security Force learned of drug trafficking in the vicinity of the Maurillo Mogollón and Cañón de San Antonio neighborhoods, in the municipality of Tijuana, and managed to arrest a man in flagrante delicto who was in possession of 120,000 fentanyl pills, seven live cartridges, three kilos of fentanyl powder, a handgun, and a magazine.
In another operation carried out in the Cañón de San Antonio neighborhood, a man was arrested transporting six kilos of fentanyl, and a vehicle with U.S. license plates was seized.
The two detainees, the drugs, and the objects were placed at the disposal of the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office.
