Starting this Sunday, Mexico City International Airport (AICM) will display on the flight screens in the terminals the official schedules assigned by the airport administrator to each airline, which are unique for the organization and planning of flights at the airport.
This means that the schedules and itineraries marketed by airlines will no longer be displayed.
This is intended to ensure passengers are well-informed and to measure and eliminate the time difference between the airport's assigned schedule and the airline's marketed schedule, thus streamlining and improving the punctuality of operations.
The measure will allow the airport's Operational Control Center to make the necessary updates and corrections, thus streamlining and regularizing flights and avoiding setbacks for the thousands of passengers who will travel during the 2023 summer season.
The measure was agreed upon and established at the 12th Ordinary Session of the Operations and Schedules Committee in December 2022, and was shared with the airlines operating at this terminal, so that they comply with these provisions."
The AICM suggested that passengers remain alert to these changes and, if they have any questions, consult directly with the airline staff they will be traveling on.
