Funeral prayers were held for the bodies of the dead at Al-Saleh Mosque, which the group calls the People's Mosque. The bodies were then transported to the nearby "Martyr Saleh Al-Samad Cemetery" for burial.

In a speech during the funeral, Houthi acting Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah said, "The assassination of Al-Rahwi and a number of ministers will not succeed in shaking the foundations of the Yemeni state." He continued, "Instead, the blood of the martyrs will be fuel for further determination and action in confronting the failed aggression plot."

In a related development, the group published the names of the dead who were buried: the Prime Minister, Minister of Information Hashem Sharaf al-Din, Minister of Foreign Affairs Gamal Amer, and Minister of Justice and Human Rights Mujahid Ahmed Abdullah Ali.
