Back pain is one of the early signs of kidney disease

Mild back pain is often considered to be a problem related to posture or muscle tension, but apparently this condition can be an indication of a more serious condition, namely kidney failure.

Urologist Dr. Kshitij Raghuvanshi, from the Rudy Hall Clinic in Pune, Maharashtra, India, was quoted by the Hindustan Times on Friday as saying that kidney pain is usually felt as a deep ache in the upper back or just below the ribs on either side of the spine.

Kshitij said there are some early symptoms of kidney disease that are good to know, such as constant fatigue.
