BC maintains third place in the 2022 Conade Nationals medal table


 Tijuana, June 30.- Baja California athletes have represented the state spectacularly at the 2022 Conade National Games, as reflected in the medal count, with Baja California in third place with 392 medals.

Of the nearly 400 medals, 134 are gold, 123 silver, and 135 bronze.

Jalisco maintains its lead in the National Games with 676 medals (274 gold); Nuevo León is second with 569 medals (195 gold).

Glorious performance in Pole Vault

Baja California had a significant medal haul this Tuesday, with four gold, one silver, and three bronze medals in the night athletics session of the 2022 CONADE Nationals at the Northwest Sports Complex.

At the Héroe de Nacozari stadium, Tijuana native María Ríos won the gold medal with 3.62 meters in the U18 Women's pole vault, but she has also become the new owner of the record at the CONADE Nationals, which had belonged to Queretaro native Adriana Arellano with 3.61 meters, since 2019.
