World Boxing Council (WBC) middleweight champion Silver Bilel Jktiou has challenged fellow French boxer Diego Natchoo to defend his title on October 18 in Nanterre, Paris.
"The fight between Jkitou and Natchoo will not only bring together two of the best French middleweights currently in the sport, but will also provide valuable building blocks on the road to a WBC world title shot," the WBC said in a statement on its official website on Thursday.
Jktiou will enter the upcoming fight after winning the belt in December 2024 when he defeated Juan Jose Rodriguez by unanimous decision.
The 33-year-old also holds the WBC Mediterranean and WBC Francophone titles, cementing his reputation as one of the most consistent French fighters of the last decade.
Jktou, who has a record of 20 wins with 8 knockouts and 2 losses, will fight to maintain his momentum towards the WBC world title fight.
