Central Lombok Police inspect Mandalika Circuit parking facilities





 The Central Lombok Police Traffic Unit together with the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Traffic Directorate checked the routes and parking facilities of the Mandalika Circuit in preparation for securing the route for the 2025 Indonesian MotoGP event .

"We want to ensure all preparations run optimally so that the entire MotoGP event series on October 3-5, 2025, can run smoothly and comfortably," said Head of Traffic Police, AKP Puteh Rinaldi, in Central Lombok, Saturday.

He said the focus of the inspections included several vital points around the Mandalika Circuit, including the Waker Intersection, Batu Putek Overpass, Songgong Roundabout, Black Gate 3, Gate 2 Bus Stop, and Deluxe Parking.

"We checked all parking locations and road access for spectators and racers," he said.

According to the Head of Traffic, this inspection aims to ensure that all routes and paths used during the 2025 MotoGP event are in prime condition. This includes smooth traffic flow, road conditions, and the availability and suitability of parking facilities.
"
This is to ensure the safety and comfort of all spectators, as well as the racing teams and crews," he said.

He said that this inspection was part of intensive coordination between the Central Lombok Police and the NTB Regional Police along with related parties to ensure the smooth running of the international event which would attract the attention of thousands of tourists, both local and international.

He also hopes for community participation in jointly maintaining security for the advancement of tourism and economic growth of the community in NTB.
