Deputy Chairman of Commission IV of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Alex Indra Lukman, is pushing for the strengthening of the distribution of Government Rice Reserves (CBP) as a strategic step to maintain food price stability while ensuring the availability of quality rice for the public.
"Smooth distribution will maintain price stability and national food availability," Alex said on the sidelines of a visit to Bulog's Modern Rice Milling Plant in Subang, West Java.
Alex emphasized the need to improve the distribution channel for the government's rice reserves managed by Bulog so that rice stocks are distributed effectively and on target.
