 The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) is strengthening the development of capture fisheries facilities in eastern Indonesia, including Papua, Maluku, and East Nusa Tenggara, to improve governance, productivity, and the welfare of local fishermen.

"The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) continues to undertake various efforts to strengthen governance and develop capture fisheries facilities in Papua, Maluku, and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT)," said Acting Director General of Capture Fisheries at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Ridwan Mulyana.

He said that various programs and funding were being carried out massively, both directly by the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and through transfer mechanisms from the central government to regional governments.
