Dembele never made the Ballon d'Or his main career goal

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker Ousmane Dembele won the 2025 Ballon d'Or for men at the annual awards ceremony in Paris.

This is the first time Dembele has won the award in his career.

Dembele appeared emotional as he received his trophy on stage. "This award was never the main goal in my career, but I fought to win the Champions League for the team," he said.

In addition to Dembele, a number of other footballers also received awards at the ceremony, including Barcelona's Spanish players Lamine Yamal and Aitana Bonmati, Sweden's Viktor Gyokeres, England goalkeeper Hannah Hampton and Italy's Gianluigi Donnarumma.
