The Israeli occupation forces killed at least 48 Palestinians, including 11 aid recipients, in new attacks targeting civilian gatherings in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Intensified Israeli attacks on Gaza City have killed at least 33 Palestinians since dawn on Friday, according to medical sources. In the eastern neighborhoods of the city, three Palestinians were killed in Israeli shelling targeting the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, and four others were killed in shelling in various areas, with no further details available.
In the northeastern neighborhoods, a Palestinian was killed and others were injured in Israeli shelling targeting the Zarqa area. In the city center, three Palestinians were killed and others were injured in Israeli shelling targeting a civilian gathering near the Al-Rifi station on Al-Nafaq Street.
West of the city, three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a civilian gathering near the Cabinet building in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, and at least one Palestinian was killed in an airstrike targeting a residential building belonging to the al-Nunu family in the al-Rimal neighborhood. Eighteen Palestinians were also killed in Israeli attacks on various parts of the city, with no further details available.
The Israeli occupation forces launched an airstrike on the Fahmi al-Jarjawi School, which houses displaced persons in the al-Daraj neighborhood east of the city, after receiving an evacuation warning. No injuries were reported.
During the night, the Israeli occupation forces launched a series of violent raids on the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood and the surrounding area of the universities west of Gaza City. They also bombed residential buildings in neighborhoods northwest of Gaza City.
In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli attacks have killed 12 Palestinians since dawn on Friday, according to medical sources. Around the Netzarim axis, 10 Palestinians waiting for aid were killed, and others were wounded by Israeli gunfire near the US-Israeli distribution center.
In the Nuseirat refugee camp, a Palestinian was killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a tent housing displaced persons in the western areas, while another Palestinian was killed in an airstrike on various areas in the central governorate.
In the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli attacks resulted in the deaths of three Palestinians in various areas. In Rafah, a Palestinian waiting for aid was killed, and others were wounded by gunfire near the distribution center in the Shakoush area (northwest).
Two Palestinians were also killed in sporadic Israeli shelling of neighborhoods in Khan Yunis, while Israeli helicopters fired at civilian homes in the city center, according to witnesses.
In a statement, the Israeli military said it had launched approximately 140 airstrikes across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, claiming to have targeted "militants, combat tunnels, and military buildings." However, sources confirmed that the majority of the targets and casualties were civilians.
The Israeli army indicated that its ground operation in Gaza City, as part of the "Gideon 2" vehicles, continued, adding: "Forces from the 36th Division continue to deepen their activity in the Gaza City area."
New statistics
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Friday that hospitals across the Strip had recorded 47 deaths and 142 new injuries in the past 24 hours, stressing that "a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them at this time."
The ministry indicated that the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 65,549 martyrs and 167,518 injuries since October 7, 2023, adding that "the death toll and injuries since March 18, 2025 (the resumption of the genocide) has reached 12,956 martyrs and 55,477 injuries."
It stated that "in the past 24 hours, five martyrs and 33 injuries were recorded as a result of being targeted near aid centers, bringing the total number of martyrs who were seeking a livelihood and who arrived at hospitals to 2,543 martyrs and more than 18,614 injuries."
Evacuation notices
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army warned residents on Friday to evacuate a residential tower and its surroundings in the northern Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City, before it was bombed and destroyed.
"An urgent warning to all those who have not yet evacuated the Gaza Port area and the al-Rimal neighborhood in blocks 724, 725, 777, 835, 704, 702, and 709, near the tower marked in red and the adjacent tents on Amin al-Husseini Street," IDF spokesman Avichay Adraee said in a statement accompanied by a map. "The Israeli army will attack the building soon," he added, without mentioning its name.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that the Italian Tower in the Nasr neighborhood of Gaza City was the target and was bombedand destroyed.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that the Italian Tower in the Nasr neighborhood of Gaza City was the target and was bombed violently. They noted that the same tower was subjected to heavy airstrikes during the 2014 Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, with large parts of it destroyed.
Witnesses noted that the tower was rebuilt months before the outbreak of the genocidal war in Gaza, noting that it housed hundreds of Palestinian families displaced by the ground invasion of the city.
In the statement, the occupation army renewed its warning to Palestinians to evacuate Gaza City and head towards what it claims is a "humanitarian zone" in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

On the humanitarian front, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Friday that one in three children in the Gaza Strip has not eaten anything within 24 hours due to a lack of food supplies caused by the Israeli blockade.
UNRWA added in a brief statement: "According to a rapid needs assessment in Gaza conducted by the International Rescue Committee, one in three children went a full day without food in the past 24 hours." It noted that "the price paid by children and their childhood (in Gaza) is unbearable."
Due to these harsh conditions, many children are forced to work, "beg, or loot," according to the same statement.
The UN agency reiterated its call for an immediate ceasefire, saying, "The children of Gaza need a ceasefire now."
On Wednesday, the International Rescue Committee said in a statement that "one in three children went a full day without eating in the past 24 hours, 70% of children are experiencing sleep problems, and one in five children is withdrawn or silent."
She noted that only 1% of families in the Gaza Strip are considered "food secure," while most families with children under the age of five reported clear signs of malnutrition.
Since March 2, Israel has closed all crossings into Gaza, preventing the entry of any food, medicine, or humanitarian aid, plunging the Strip into famine despite the backlog of aid trucks at its borders.
However, it sometimes allows in very limited quantities of aid that fail to meet the minimum needs of the starving and do not end the famine, especially since most trucks are robbed by gangs that the "Gaza government" claims are protected by Israel.
On August 22, the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) declared a famine in Gaza City, and predicted it would spread to Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis by the end of September.
