Fidan discussed with Palestinian Vice President Hussein al-Sheikh international efforts to recognize the State of Palestine in a phone call, according to sources in the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
The sources explained that the two sides discussed global efforts to recognize the State of Palestine, without providing further details about the content of the call.
The Turkish Foreign Minister also held a phone call with his Omani counterpart, Badr Al-Busaidi, on Tuesday, during which they discussed efforts to recognize the State of Palestine and the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, which is being subjected to Israeli genocide.
Diplomatic sources reported that the phone conversations also touched on bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to ongoing efforts to support international recognition of the State of Palestine and the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
In the same context, Fidan discussed with his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, on Tuesday preparations for the meeting scheduled to be held in New York on September 22 to recognize the State of Palestine.
During a phone call, Fidan and Bin Farhan also discussed efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also discussed the situations in Gaza and Syria with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Safadi, on Tuesday.

Turkish Foreign Ministry sources revealed that the two ministers discussed developments related to the Palestinian issue and the humanitarian situation in Gaza in a phone call. Turkish diplomatic sources also indicated that Fidan and Safadi also discussed developments in southern Syria.
