The Israeli military said in a statement: "The air force intercepted a drone launched from Yemen before it entered Israeli territory," adding that "no alerts were activated, in accordance with established policy."
This incident comes just one day after Israel announced it had intercepted another drone launched from Yemen, following its attack on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, last Thursday, which resulted in the deaths of several Houthi leaders.
As of 11:00 GMT, the Houthi group has not issued any official comment on the incident.
