Content creator Jovi Adhiguna believes that gadgets like the iPhone are no longer just communication tools, but rather versatile devices and "creative partners" for creating content, from finding ideas to interacting with audiences.
"Because that's where I work, create, and even communicate with the audience. You could say it's a one-stop solution in my life," said Jovi while attending the opening of the Apple Premium Partner outlet at Grand Indonesia in Jakarta on Friday.
For Jovi Adhiguna, camera and video features are crucial to the quality of the content he produces. While previously a creator needed professional camera equipment, now all documentation needs can be accomplished simply by using a mobile phone.
Jovi Adhiguna describes the shift in how he works since smartphones became equipped with powerful capabilities. Back then, when he started working, Jovi used a professional camera and then transferred the files to his laptop for editing.
"Now I use my phone completely because the camera quality is so good. Memory is also an important factor," he said.
He also believes that the development of gadget technology now makes it easier for him to create content. Because cellphones can now be installed with various editing, coloring and animation applications, without requiring complicated additional equipment.
"Previously, the process (of creating content) was long, but now everything is much more streamlined," said Jovi Adhiguna.
For him, this development proves that technology and creativity go hand in hand. Gadgets are no longer just accessories, but a vital part of a creator's workflow, responding to the demands of ever-changing trends.
