Communications and Digital Minister Meutya Hafid said the presence of the Garuda Spark Innovation Hub in Bandung, West Java, will help young people develop digital innovations.
"Today, we are making history by establishing the first Innovation Hub from the Ministry of Communication and Digital, in collaboration with stakeholders from the Ministry of Communication and Digital, to become the forerunner of digital transformation progress in the country," said Meutya in her remarks in Bandung, West Java, on Saturday.
The inauguration of Garuda Spark in Bandung was chosen because it has long been known as a center of creativity, education, and technology. The launch also coincided with the 80th anniversary of the Post and Telecommunications Service Day, making it a symbolic moment to emphasize Indonesia's commitment to accelerating digital transformation.
