Liverpool striker Hugo Ekitike has acknowledged Alexander Isak as a great striker, with him looking forward to playing alongside the Swede on the pitch.
Ekitike made the remarks during a press conference ahead of the second leg of the 2025/2026 Champions League between Liverpool and Galatasaray at RAMS Park on Wednesday, October 1, at 2:00 a.m. WIB.
"You know he's a great player. I've played with two strikers and one striker, so I can do a lot of things. If we have to play together, I can do it," Ekitike said, as quoted on Liverpool's official website on Tuesday.
Since arriving from Newcastle United for a then-record fee in English football, Isak has never played alongside Ekitike.
