In-person classes begin at Tijuana campuses

Tijuana, BC, August 30.- Under the health protocols established by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Public Education, the 2021-2022 school year began this morning in the country, where around 25 million students were called to return to the classroom, although it has been repeatedly reported that the return is voluntary.

At Tijuana's Technical Secondary School 42, located in the Panamericano neighborhood, the strategy for an orderly and safe return to the classroom consisted of dividing the average 40 students in each group into four groupsgrou

Thus, 25 percent of the student body will attend one day per week, alternating so that the total enrollment of 720 students can have in-person classes on different days while respecting social distancing.

For this staggered return to in-person classes, a total of 80 students were invited to the school, representing four first-grade groups, three second-grade groups, and one third-grade group.
