Meanwhile, this defeat ended Napoli's four-match winning streak with 12 points from five matches, trailing AC Milan on goal difference.

In that match, AC Milan's victory came thanks to goals from Alexis Saelemaekers and Christian Pulisic, while Napoli managed to reduce the deficit through a Kevin De Bruyne penalty kick.

In the match held at the Stadio Olimpico, Rome, AS Roma was able to beat Hellas Verona thanks to goals scored by Artem Dovbyk and Matias Soule.
Juventus is currently in fourth place in the Italian League standings with 11 points from five matches, while Inter Milan is in fifth place with nine points.
