Lack of composure was a factor in Sabar/Reza's stoppage in the first round

Lack of composure was a factor in Indonesian men's doubles badminton players Sabar Karyaman Gutama and Moh Reza Pahlevi's elimination in the first round of the 2025 China Masters.

In the round of 32 match which took place at Shenzhen Arena, Shangbu, Tuesday, Sabar/Reza acknowledged the toughness of the Japanese pair Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi in two straight games 16-21, 20-22.

"In terms of gameplay, we and they were more or less the same compared to last week. But we lost a lot of our own game and lacked composure in the final points today," Reza said, as quoted by PBSI.
