The Director General of Digital Infrastructure at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Wayan Toni Supriyanto, said the announcement of the auction winners for the 1.4 GHz radio frequency band will be held as scheduled in October 2025.
"It's still ongoing, still ongoing. The announcement of the winner is scheduled for October," Wayan said when met at the Parliament Complex in Jakarta on Monday.
Wayan confirmed that the 1.4 GHz frequency auction process is still ongoing. The auction is currently awaiting the submission of documents from participants.
"It's already in process. Now we're waiting for the documents to be submitted," he added.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Technology began the auction process for selecting users of the 1.4 GHz radio frequency band for broadband wireless access services in an effort to expand the reach of internet access services at more affordable costs at the end of last July.
