Ensenada, February 9. Around 1 p.m. this Friday, an Ensenada Municipal Police officer was shot and killed .
The officer was on his day off and was killed as he was getting into his vehicle on Emilio Carranza Boulevard in the Aviación neighborhood. According to unofficial information, the attackers shot him repeatedly.
Police units from all three levels of government arrived at the scene to cordon off the crime and begin processing it .
The perpetrators fled, and despite the massive police operation, no arrests were reported in connection with the homicide.
Near the scene of the attack, authorities located a vehicle in which the attackers allegedly fled .
