Nokia has officially opened a new research and development (R&D) and manufacturing center in Oulu, Finland, to strengthen its role in the competition towards next-generation 5G and 6G networks.
As reported by Gizmochina, Sunday, the location dubbed the “Home of Radio” will bring together researchers, engineers, and production under one roof with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI)-based connectivity.
The campus was inaugurated on September 5 and will accommodate around 3,000 experts.
The facility is designed to cover the entire product development cycle, from initial testing and chip design to hardware, software, and patent development.
