PAN supporters gather in Tijuana to elect leaders.


 Tijuana, November 10. Hundreds of National Action Party supporters gathered at the party's offices in Tijuana to make their voices heard in the internal elections.

The purpose of these elections is to democratically select the next PAN leaders at the national and state levels.

The president of the PAN in Tijuana, Christopher Domínguez, shared that he expects to receive 2,000 supporters in these internal elections.

For his part, former Baja California Governor José Guadalupe Osuna Millán shared that the party has always distinguished itself by running a democratically, and he hopes that this vision will be restored in these elections.

"The PAN has distinguished itself as a party that practices internal democracy, and differences here are resolved through voting," said Osuna Millán.

Among the candidates for the party's national leadership are Congressman Jorge Romero, on leave, and former Congresswoman Adriana Dávila.

Meanwhile, in the statewide race, two women are running for leadership: Lizbeth Mata Lozano and Amintha Briceño Cinco. Polls opened at 10:00 a.m., and a preliminary result of the winners is expected by 10:00 p.m.
