Tijuana, September 15.- The president of Canaco-Servytur Tijuana , Jorge Macías Jiménez , revealed that next week he will meet with the mayor-elect, Montserrat Caballero Ramírez , to address, among other issues, security following violent events in the municipality, such as the murder of a man at the Hidalgo Market .
"These are worrying issues; we will address them next week.
In the middle of Mercado Hidalgo , a situation like this occurs, where public and crowded places are no longer respected, and in the case of Playas de Tijuana it is very sad that a girl has been murdered ,” said Macías Jiménez. He referred to the attack that occurred in a shopping center against a man, which left his 14-year-old daughter and her bodyguard dead , and left him injured.
" Authorities are urged to clarify these events, which are very worrying for the sector and all citizens," added the president of Canaco .
“Economic spillover is in the air”
On the other hand, the president of Canaco anticipated that this year there will be no economic impact as in previous years during the national holidays , due to the City Council's decision to hold celebrations without an audience due to the health emergency .
