South Sulawesi Regional Secretary Jufri Rahman said the province is ready to become a new location for the Integrated Village Economic Transformation program.
Jufri Rahman, in his statement in Makassar on Sunday, said he had proposed South Sulawesi's readiness to be included as one of the target locations for the program in the next phase.
"We've already sent a message asking for this location to be expanded. Perhaps there are villages in South Sulawesi that meet the requirements to become a location," he explained.
The TEKAD program is a collaboration between the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (Kemendes PDT) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) since 2020.
