Samsung has launched its latest F-series smartphone, the Galaxy F17 5G, in India, promising six OS updates.
What's interesting about this phone is that it has almost the same features and specifications as the Galaxy A17 5G, which was previously released in Ireland in early August 2025.
In a SamMobile report on Thursday, it was explained that one of the differences between the Galaxy A17 and Galaxy F17 is the absence of a charger in the Galaxy F17 package.
It is stated that the Galaxy F17 5G has a Super AMOLED display panel with a 6.7-inch Infinity-U display, 90Hz refresh rate, and Full HD+ resolution.
The display is protected by a Gorilla Glass Victus panel, and it is the cheapest phone in India to come with this version of Gorilla Glass protection.
The phone has a single speaker, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a hybrid dual SIM card slot.
