Samsung Display Co. on Monday announced plans to introduce a new digital cockpit solution at the IAA Mobility 2025 trade show, which will begin in Munich, Germany.
The new digital cockpit solution for a safer and more comfortable driving experience will be showcased alongside a variety of new Samsung Display technologies and products at the six-day exhibition.
During the exhibition, the South Korean display manufacturer will showcase a digital cockpit tailored for autonomous cars, equipped with various OLED displays, including a moving cluster display that functions as a dashboard but can move back when the vehicle is parked.
"This movable OLED display not only presents important information to the driver, but also enhances the interior aesthetics as a space-saving design solution," the company said in a statement, quoted by Yonhap news agency on Monday.
The cockpit also includes a 14.4-inch L-shaped display positioned between the driver and passenger. The OLED display's flexibility and curved design allow users to control the vehicle's temperature and other settings.
