Monthly users of the short video sharing platform TikTok have exceeded 200 million in Europe, meaning roughly one in three of the continent's population uses it, according to a Reuters report cited by Techi.
According to the app provider, monthly users of the app owned by Chinese technology company ByteDance have increased rapidly from a total of 175 million people in 32 European countries in 2024.
A company spokesperson said that TikTok has reached one billion monthly users globally, making it one of the largest social media platforms in the world.
