Tijuana, January 24. Taxpayers with outstanding debts with the Tax Administration Service (SAT) will be able to access a reduction of up to 100 percent in fines, surcharges, and enforcement costs .
The above was announced by Marisol Blanco Orozco, decentralized administrator of Taxpayer Services at the SAT, and by Daniel Benigno Granados, decentralized administrator of Collection.
They reported that these benefits are available to individuals and corporations whose total income reached up to 35 million pesos in the fiscal year they intend to regularize.
They explained that those who are responsible for omitted contributions or compensatory fees, are subject to verification powers, are paying tax credits in installments, or are responsible for final tax credits determined by federal authorities can be regularized.
They indicated that the taxpayer can choose to settle the entire debt in a single payment, with significant discounts on surcharges and fines, or request a payment plan in installments .
The incentive can be requested through the sat.gob.mx portal and at any of the 55 SAT locations across the country.
Officials advised identifying any outstanding tax debts, surcharges, updates, or fines by logging into the SAT portal with your RFC (Tax Identification Number) and password or electronic signature.
