The chess team of the Utut Adianto Chess School (SCUA) Gading Serpong won the international chess tournament entitled Merdeka Open Rapid Team Chess Championship 2025 which took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This Rapid team tournament was attended by 93 teams from Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
"The SCUA Gading Serpong team, with captain GM Sean Winshand Cuhendi and a composition of players such as GM Novendra Priasmoro, IM Medina Warda Aulia, FM Nayaka Budhidharma, and WGM Dewi Ardhiani Anastasia Citra, performed consistently since the early rounds," SCUA wrote in an official statement.
