Second humanitarian flight sent to Israel travels to Mexico: Foreign Ministry

Mexico City, October 10. Foreign Secretary Alicia Bárcena announced the departure of the second Mexican Air Force (FAM) plane from Israel, bringing back a group of Mexicans trapped in that country due to the ongoing armed conflict in the region.

"There are 141 passengers on this flight," the chancellor said via 'X', after an initial message stating that 130 compatriots were on board the aircraft.

It is a Boeing 737-800, registration 3527, whose first technical stopover will be in Turkey, and from there to Shannon Airport, Ireland, then heading to Canada, making another stopover in North Carolina, United States, and arriving tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, at Military Air Base No. 1 in Santa Lucía, State of Mexico, at 4:40 p.m.

Another similar FAM plane, carrying a first group of fellow citizens, departed hours earlier to follow the same route.
