Snapchat has officially launched Imagine Lens, a new feature based on generative artificial intelligence (AI) that allows users to create and edit images simply by typing text commands.
As reported by Tech Crunch on Sunday, this feature is available exclusively for Snapchat+ Platinum and Lens+ subscribers.
With Imagine Lens, users can create, edit, and even recreate Snaps according to instructions or prompts they enter. The results can be shared directly with friends, uploaded to Stories, or shared outside of Snapchat.
Unlike previous AI-generating Lenses, Imagine Lens is Snapchat's first Lens to support open prompts , giving users complete freedom to create creative content.
