The Special Olympics badminton
Indonesia (SOIna) team is ready to compete for the first time in the 2025 Asia Pacific Special Olympics Badminton Competition, which will take place in Malaysia.
"There are 10 athletes who will compete in the men's and women's singles and the unified men's and women's doubles categories," said Head of the SOIna Badminton Team Delegation Ahmad Azwari when contacted in Jakarta, Thursday.
He explained that the unifield sport that will be participated in is an inclusive sport concept that brings together athletes with intellectual disabilities and athletes without disabilities in one team.
