The Spanish national team put on an outstanding performance with a landslide 6-0 victory over Türkiye in a 2026 World Cup qualifying match.
Coach Luis de la Fuente said his team's performance against Türkiye was their best since taking over La Roja after the 2022 World Cup.
"This is the national team's best moment since we've been here, but that's not the limit we can reach. I see unlimited potential in this team. However, there's still room for improvement, for continued growth, especially given the quality of the players and their attitude," he said in an interview with Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, quoted on Wednesday.
"This group of players never gets tired, they always accept that tomorrow we have to do even better."
